Lead your students through a transformative exploration of London and Edinburgh, where the past and future of design and architecture converge. This faculty-led program offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with two of the UK’s most influential cities, visiting historic landmarks like the Victoria and Albert Museum and Edinburgh Castle, while also gaining exclusive access to modern design studios and architectural firms at the forefront of innovation.
In London, your group will explore the intersection of traditional and contemporary design through visits to architectural icons and dialogues with industry leaders. In Edinburgh, the blend of historic preservation and cutting-edge design provides an inspiring context for learning. Along the way, your group will engage with local experts, participate in guided tours and immerse themselves in the cultural backdrop of these vibrant cities.
This program is designed to offer your students a broad understanding of the evolving fields of interior design and architecture, all while providing you with the support and resources to facilitate a meaningful academic experience.

Depart USA for United Kingdom
Day 2
Morning
Arrive in London and take a private bus transfer to hotel and check into accommodations
Afternoon
Take a Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour to the major sights of London, including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the House of Parliament
Evening
Group Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant to try traditional English Fish & Chips
Day 3
Morning
Visit the Graffiti Tunnel under Waterloo Station on the way to The V&A Museum
Afternoon
Visit to Westminster Abbey
Evening
Take a ride on the London Eye to oversee the beautiful skyline of the City of London
Day 4
Morning
Visit to the Design Museum of London
The Design Museum in Kensington, London, England, exhibits product, industrial, graphic, fashion, and architectural design.
Afternoon
Visit to the Foster + Partners in London to learn about architecture in London and how to grow a company into a global brand Foster + Partners is a global studio for sustainable architecture, urbanism and design, founded by Norman Foster in 1967.
Day 5
Morning
Visit to the British Institute of Interior Design
Afternoon
Lecture at the University of the Arts London to discuss: Interior Design Project Management and how to successfully manage and oversee projects.
Evening
Free evening to explore London
Day 6
Morning
Interactive lecture at the National Art Gallery in London of Art to discuss preservation of art and sculptures as they age and are subject to new environmental factors that can cause decay. This lecture will showcase the many artworks and sculptures that are important to British history
Afternoon
Free afternoon to explore London
Day 7
Morning
Check out of housing and take the train to Edinburgh
Afternoon
Check into hotel in to accommodations
Evening
Walking Tour of Edinburgh including the Royal Mile, Old Town and the New Town
Day 8
Morning
Edinburgh Castle
Afternoon
Meet with a local interior design company where students will be able to interact with designers and discuss innovative designs and techniques within Edinburgh.
Evening
Group Dinner to try traditional Scottish food
Day 9
Morning
Full Day Tour from Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands including Pitlochry, Loch Ness, Glen Coe, Ben Nevis and Cairngorms National Park.
Return to Edinburgh hotel
Day 10
Check out of hotel and private bus transfer to Edinburgh Airport for return to United States
