Internship in Dublin – Fall

Internship

Internship

At The Learning Abroad Co., our expert team of advisors is committed to helping you clearly define your objectives for your internship. Whether your internship aligns with your current field of study or explores a new area of interest, we’re here to ensure that it’s a valuable and enriching experience.

We collaborate with a network of regular host companies that we trust and continuously work with. Additionally, we are dedicated to sourcing new host companies tailored to meet your specific requirements and goals.

During your internship, an advisor will hold regular meetings with you to discuss your progress and ensure that your experience is on track. We also maintain close communication with your supervisor at the host company to support your development throughout the internship.

Please note that this is a non-credit based internship. However, credit may be applied if arranged with your home institution prior to starting the program.

To further enhance your professional growth, all interns will participate in our International Work Culture Seminars. These seminars are designed to help you succeed not only in your internship but also in your future career. Topics vary and include essential skills such as employer hiring practices, improving professional communication, building a professional social media profile, and adapting to various work environments. The experience is enriched by guest speakers and career-focused field trips and activities. Some of our seminar offerings include:

  • Introduction to Working Culture in Ireland
  • Intercultural Communication
  • How to Present Your Intern Abroad Experience to Prospective Employers
  • Social Media & Me – Understanding the Impact of Your Online Footprint on Your Career

This comprehensive approach ensures that you gain the skills and insights needed to thrive in your internship and beyond, making your time with The Learning Abroad Co. a truly transformative experience.
