The Business and Management Faculty-Led Program in Spain offers students a unique opportunity to explore global finance, corporate governance, and urban innovation across Madrid and Barcelona, two of Europe’s most dynamic economic centers.
Over 10 days and 9 nights, participants will engage with leading business schools, financial institutions, and pioneering technology hubs, gaining an international perspective on corporate strategy, market economics, and innovation ecosystems. The program blends academic engagement, immersive field studies, and cultural exploration for a comprehensive study abroad experience.
Through expert lectures and industry site visits, students will connect economic theory to real-world practice. Academic highlights include a lecture on Eurozone vs. US economic differences at IE University, and a session on business communication at ESADE Business School. Market and financial exposure comes via a guided visit to the Madrid Stock Exchange and the Cuatro Torres Business Area, Madrid’s flagship corporate skyline. In Barcelona, a walking tour of the 22@Barcelona innovation district — a former industrial quarter transformed into Spain’s leading tech cluster — connects students directly to how cities reinvent themselves for the knowledge economy.
Beyond business, students will enjoy Gaudí’s architectural masterpieces at the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, a vibrant visit to Mercat de la Boqueria, a paella cooking class, and a flamenco show celebrating Spanish cultural heritage.
