Rollercoaster Design Program

Rollercoaster Design – Ireland

21 days Dublin

Design, Engineering

This faculty-led program in Dublin is designed to provide students with both structured learning and personal exploration, the itinerary integrates academic sessions with engaging cultural experiences, creating an ideal environment for global competency development.

The program’s core academic component takes place at Technical University Dublin (TUD) in Tallaght, where students will participate in classes and workshops led by their faculty.

The program emphasizes a strong cultural component, beginning with an in-depth walking tour of Dublin on the first full day. Students will gain a historical perspective of the city, including visits to major landmarks such as Trinity College Dublin and the Book of Kells, offering a fascinating insight into Ireland’s scholarly traditions. These curated tours provide students with valuable historical and cultural context, linking past and present.

The program also features hands-on learning experiences, such as a full-day excursion to Emerald Park, where students will enjoy a fun, interactive day at the theme park, including a behind-the-scenes talk on the management of the Cu Chulainn Coaster, a world-famous wooden roller coaster. This offers students a chance to explore the business and operational side of tourism and theme parks, combining leisure with education.

The program includes free weekends, allowing students time for independent exploration or participation in optional excursions, such as the Cliffs of Moher.
