    Visit to Manises Town of Ceramics to workshops in Manises for a ceramics-making class where students can learn hands-on techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and firing. Workshops in Manises often specialize in traditional Valencian ceramic styles, such as blue-and-white patterns and lusterware, which were once exported throughout Europe.

    Visit to Museum of Fine Arts

    Morning

    Take a private guided tour of the Lladró Porcelain Factory and Museum, which would include meeting with artisans and designers to understand the business side of luxury porcelain production.

What’s Included

  • Housing

    • Students & faculty will be housed in 3 star hotel accommodation with breakfast included
    • 2 students per bedroom (2 separate beds) with private bathroom
    • Private bedrooms for faculty members
  • Meals

    • Breakfast is included
    • 2 group meals included in the program as part of activities for students and faculty – Welcome Dinner and Farewell Dinner
  • Transport

    • For the most part students will walk around the locations they will visit
    • Students will be provided with a weekly public transport card included in program fee to use on buses and trains
    • Private or public transport will be arranged for airport transfers and scheduled day trips/half day trips, and this is included in the program fee
  • On-Site Support

    • A TLAC team member on-site in Spain will be assigned to your group for the duration of the program
    • You will be provided with a 24-hour Emergency Contact phone number to reach TLAC at any time during your stay
  • Cultural Activities

    • Engaging learning through a rich variety of cultural activities that bring academic concepts to life. Students will have the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of their destination, connecting it directly to their field of study through thoughtfully curated experiences.
