Animal Care and Conservation – Ireland

8 days Dublin & Cork

Veterinary

Embark on an unique journey through Ireland with our Veterinary Technology program in Ireland offers a dynamic and immersive experience for students eager to expand their knowledge in veterinary science and animal care while gaining valuable insights into international practices. Set against the backdrop of Ireland’s lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage, the program provides a comprehensive understanding of veterinary practices across a variety of settings, including dairy farms, wildlife parks and animal sanctuaries.

Students will engage in hands-on learning experiences with local veterinarians, farmers and conservationists, exploring diverse topics such as animal health management, sustainable agricultural practices, and wildlife rehabilitation. Visits to working dairy farms will give students the opportunity to observe the daily operations of Irish agriculture, while gaining a deeper understanding of the health, welfare and management of livestock in a farming culture known for its close connection to the land.

Through guest lectures and guided tours of veterinary clinics, participants will learn about the veterinary profession in Ireland, including educational pathways, the daily responsibilities of veterinary professionals, and the ethical considerations that guide their work.
